Job summary

Azza HealthCare Agency is seeking a Full-Time Radiation Therapist for the Radiation Oncology Department to deliver precise ionizing radiation treatments per physician prescriptions.

The role covers patient assessment, therapy setup and simulation, treatment delivery, safety procedures, and on-call rotations, with mentorship for RTT/RTR students as a clinical instructor.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program.
• ARRT Radiation Therapy certification and BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of radiation therapy experience preferred.
• Strong ability to treat and simulate patients accurately.

Responsibilities

• Deliver precise ionizing radiation treatments following physician prescriptions.
• Perform patient set-ups, simulate treatments, and schedule patients appropriately.
• Assess patients and document in EMR with accurate details.
• Educate patients and families on treatment side effects and safety protocols.
• Follow radiation safety procedures, universal precautions, and fall management.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and mentor RTT/RTR students as a clinical instructor.

• Assess patients, deliver appropriate care considering age groups, and document accurately in EMR.

• Follow strict safety procedures, including radiation safety measures, universal precautions, and fall management.

• Assist with additional tasks, participate in on‑call rotations, and mentor RTT and RTR students as a clinical instructor.
