Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiation Therapy is required.
• ARRT-T Certification and BLS/ARC-BLS are required.
• At least two years of radiation therapy experience preferred.
• Ability to treat and simulate patients accurately.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiation equipment safely and accurately, performing complex technical procedures.
• Participate in quality control and ensure precise delivery of therapy.
• Assess patients, perform procedures, and provide specialized care tailored to age groups (adolescent, adult, geriatrics).
• Document all activities appropriately in the EMR.
• Educate patients and families on treatment side effects and use of treatment aids.
• Complete patient set-ups, simulations, and scheduling with accuracy and adherence to physician orders.
• Follow safety protocols, including radiation safety measures and universal precautions.
• Recognize limitations, seek assistance when needed, and report adverse reactions immediately.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and serve as a clinical instructor for students, providing evaluations and feedback.
• Adhere to organizational policies, standards, and codes of conduct.
