Sioux Falls Ford Lincoln invites you to join our Quick Lane team as a Technician. No prior automotive experience is required, because we offer paid on-the-job training and a fast-paced shop designed to deliver the best technician experience.

This role focuses on routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, tire checks, and inspections, with a clear path for certification and advancement within the dealership. Flexible schedules and benefits support growth.

Qualifications

• Current and valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Outstanding communication skills - verbal and written.
• Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Manage day-to-day work plan in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
• Drain oil from crankcase and refills with required amount of oil
• Replace oil and air filters
• Inspect vehicle fluid levels, replaces or replenishes as necessary
• Check tire pressure
• Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants
• Rotate tires
• Document all work performed on the repair order
• Maintain accountability for all dealership-owned tools and manuals - returns them to the proper place and in the same condition as when they were received
• Report machinery defects or malfunctions to Manager
• Keep shop area neat and clean

We offer paid training on the job. Our dealership is fast paced, organized, and built for the best technician experience!

Quick Lane Technician Job Responsibilities
