Job summary

Blue Springs Ford is seeking a Quick Lane Service Technician to perform fluid checks and basic maintenance, including oil changes and fluid level inspections. You’ll work on vehicles at a Ford dealership and contribute to service excellence in a friendly, fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes quick, accurate diagnostics, use of diagnostic equipment, and hands-on repairs. Prior Ford dealership exposure is a plus, with opportunities for growth and specialized certification within the Ford

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Ford Certification is a plus.
• Experience at a Ford dealership is a plus.
• Ability to identify problems quickly.
• Knowledge of automobiles.
• Strong reading, computer, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Test to check whether systems and components are secure and working properly.
• Isolate the systems or components that might have caused the problem.
• Drive the vehicle for testing purposes.
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles.
• Repair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicle’s breakdown or damage.
• Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks.

Blue Springs Ford is looking for a new Automotive Quick Lane Technician!This role will mainly be focused on fluid checks and basic maintenance. Typically, a Quick Lane Service Technician will change a vehicle's oil, check the transmission fluid and other fluid levels, inspect various belts and filters, and check air levels and gauges.

Quick Lane Service Technician Responsibilities:
