Job summary

Ultimate Therapy in Voorhees, NJ is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a full-time role in our rehabilitation program. You’ll implement plans, guide residents through therapeutic exercises, and support improvements in strength, balance, and endurance.

Qualifications

• Active NJ Physical Therapist Assistant license required.
• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Commitment to resident-centered care.
• Rehabilitation or skilled nursing experience preferred, but not required.
• New graduates are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy programs established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Guide residents through therapeutic exercises and functional activities.
• Support improvements in strength, walking, balance, transfers, and endurance.
• Track resident performance and report progress or changes to the PT.
• Reinforce safe movement techniques and therapeutic recommendations.
• Maintain required clinical documentation.
• Coordinate with therapists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to support resident care.
