Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program is required.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans.
• Support mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence goals.
• Provide gait, transfer, and therapeutic exercise programs.
• Assist patients with devices (walkers, canes, wheelchairs).
• Complete clinical documentation accurately and timely per guidelines.
• Prepare and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas.
• Communicate patient progress to supervising PT and collaborate with the team.
