Forest Acres Post Acute is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our therapy team in Downtown Columbia, SC. The PTA will support physical therapy services, assist with treatment plans, and help residents regain mobility and confidence in a patient-centered, family-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Active South Carolina PTA license in good standing.
• Experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapist with treatment plans and patient care.
• Help residents improve mobility, strength, balance, and independence.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Document timely, accurate patient progress and discharge planning.
• Educate residents and families on home exercise programs and safety.
