Job summary

Forest Acres Post Acute is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our Therapy Team in downtown Columbia, South Carolina. The role focuses on assisting the Physical Therapist, improving residents’ mobility and independence, and supporting a compassionate, family-oriented culture.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team, participate in care conferences, and help residents progress through rehab in a fast-paced facility. SC PTA license is required.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Proficient in computer skills such as Net Health and Point Click Care.
• Active, unencumbered SC PTA license.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist with treatment plans and patient care.
• Help residents improve mobility, strength, balance, and independence.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
• Document timely, accurate, and compliant records.
