Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current Michigan PTA license.
• CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized physical therapy treatments.
• Carry out treatment plans established by the PT.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and functional activities.
• Monitor patient response and communicate changes to the PT.
• Encourage patients throughout rehabilitation journey.
• Provide education to patients and caregivers when appropriate.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation.
• Work closely with nursing and other care team members.
• Help maintain a positive, safe and professional therapy environment.
