Concept Rehab is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant to join the team in Bellaire, Michigan. You will work under the guidance of a Physical Therapist to help patients improve strength, mobility and independence through personalized therapy sessions.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Michigan PTA license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain as required.

Responsibilities

• Providing individualized physical therapy treatments.
• Carrying out treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist.
• Assisting patients with therapeutic exercises and functional activities.
• Monitoring patient response and communicating changes to the PT.
• Encouraging patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Providing education to patients and caregivers when appropriate.
• Completing accurate and timely documentation.
• Working closely with nursing and other members of the care team.
• Helping maintain a positive, safe and professional therapy environment.
