Job summary

Polaris Rehabilitation and Care Center is seeking a Full Time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join a compassionate team in Cheyenne, WY. The PTA will support the therapy program and help promote patient recovery and independence.

Responsibilities include assisting PTs, conducting sessions, applying modalities, and documenting progress while collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure comprehensive treatment. New grads welcome with licensure readiness.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in PTA.
• Current PTA certification, or willingness to obtain.
• 6 months+ experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with patients and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans.
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions under supervision.
• Use modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy.
• Monitor progress and document outcomes for patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for coordinated care.
