Job summary

Cape Fear Community College is seeking a Clinical Coordinator for the Physical Therapist Assistant Program. This full-time role leads clinical education, aligns with accreditation standards, and collaborates with faculty to ensure high-quality PTA education.

The position requires licensure as a PT or PTA, minimum three years of clinical practice, and experience coordinating clinical education or teaching in PTA programs. Travel to clinical sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active PT or PTA license in the U.S. and comply with NC licensure requirements.
• Minimum of three years of full-time post-licensure clinical practice as PT/PTA.
• Experience as Site Coordinator of Clinical Education (SCCE) and/or CI, or teaching/curriculum in PTA education.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Academic Coordinator of Clinical Education (ACCE) and core PTA program faculty.
• Plan, develop, coordinate, and evaluate the PTA clinical education component.
• Coordinate clinical affiliation agreements and maintain clinical education records.
• Schedule student clinical assignments and communicate expectations to sites and faculty.
• Maintain student clinical records, confidentiality, and CAPTE compliance.
