Job summary

HealthMark Rehabilitation is seeking Full-time Physical Therapist Assistants to treat residents and short-term patients at Arbrook Plaza facility in Arlington, Texas.

The position offers a $2,500 sign-on bonus and requires Texas PTA licensure, strong communication, organizational and analytical skills, and the ability to work within a large interdisciplinary team.

Experience in geriatric rehabilitation is preferred; candidates must pass background checks and meet physical requirements.

Qualifications

• Must hold Texas license/certification for PTA.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Organizational and analytical abilities required.
• Ability to function in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Demonstrates time management and clinical judgment.
• Experience in geriatric rehabilitation preferred.
• Successful completion of hiring process / background check.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapy services in accordance with physician's orders and accepted professional practices.
• Develops an overall therapy plan of care including treatment and goals, with planned duration and frequency to support discharge.
• Therapists perform skilled treatments according to the plan of care.
• Documents observations and patient responses within required timeframes.
• Completes all documentation timely and in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Assists with maintaining rehab gym equipment and treatment area, using infection prevention methods.
