Job summary

AWI Management Corp. is seeking a dedicated Property Manager to oversee a 55-unit apartment community in Placentia, CA, while ensuring resident satisfaction and property standards. The role emphasizes building strong resident relationships and maintaining high community standards.

Experience with affordable housing programs such as RD, HUD, or LIHTC is strongly preferred. The position entails day-to-day operations, lease administration, and coordinated maintenance within a collaborative team

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the community.
• Process applications, screen applicants, and verify landlord references.
• Prepare leases, house rules, and required documentation.
• Manage tenant certifications and recertifications.
• Conduct move-ins and move-outs; collect rent and security deposits.
• Enforce lease agreements and community policies.
• Coordinate maintenance and ensure property standards.
• Maintain curb appeal and property presentation.
• Market and advertise vacant units to attract residents.
• Respond to emergency situations and follow company policies.
