Job summary

Manchester Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a skilled nursing team. The role emphasizes geriatric care, independent evaluation and treatment, and functional therapy activities for residents.

The SLP will assess referred patients, set realistic goals, document progress, and educate families under physician direction. Licensure in TN and a degree in Speech-Language Pathology are required. Full-time and PRN roles available.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Must hold a valid professional license and registration for state of TN.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care preferred.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services.
• Provide direct patient care and develop treatment plans.
• Establish goals according to patient capacity and tolerance.
• Document patient condition and progress; educate patients and families.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to deliver patient-centered care.
