Job summary

Manchester Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Tennessee is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our geriatric care team in a Skilled Nursing facility. The ideal candidate will hold a TN license and be able to evaluate and treat residents independently, focusing on functional therapy to improve their experience.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited Speech Therapist college or university.
• Must have a valid professional license and TN registration.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care preferred.
• Well versed with documentation writing.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation and provide direct care.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals.
• Set realistic goals, document patient condition, and educate patients and families.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to provide patient-centered care.
