Renewed Light is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) or Licensed Social Worker (LSW) to join our Mental Health Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Outpatient (OP) programs. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality, evidence-based mental health services to individuals aiming to enhance their mental health and well-being. Our programs offer comprehensive support in a flexible environment, catering to a diverse client base. The ideal candidate will be an empathetic professional with a passion for mental health advocacy and a commitment to client-centered care.

Location:

West Deptford, NJ, with flexibility to accommodate days or nights based on program needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions in group and individual settings, adapting approaches to meet the diverse needs of clients.
• Interact with clients in a one-on-one individualized therapy setting.
• Facilitate IOP and OP group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic models to engage clients in their recovery process.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to mental health care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with professional standards and legal requirements.
• Provide crisis intervention services as needed, ensuring client safety and linking to appropriate emergency resources.
• Demonstrate cultural competency and sensitivity in all interactions, respecting the diverse backgrounds and experiences of clients.

Qualifications:

• Valid LAC or LSW certification in the State of New Jersey is required.
• Master's degree in counseling, social work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Experience in an IOP or OP setting is preferred, with a strong foundation in evidence-based practices for mental health treatment.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively engage clients from various backgrounds.
• Knowledge of community resources and services for comprehensive client support.
• Ability to work flexibly, including days or nights, to meet the needs of the program and clients.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards in mental health practice.
