Job summary

Longwood Collective, Inc. in Boston is seeking a full-time Preschool Teacher to help shape young minds in a nurturing, engaging environment for children aged 2.9 to 4 years old.

You’ll plan age-appropriate activities, work rotating shifts (7 AM–3 PM Tue/Thu and 10 AM–6 PM Mon/Wed with a rotating Friday), and support development across social, emotional, physical, and cognitive domains.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required).
• Experience working with children in a child care, daycare, or preschool setting.
• Ability to lift at least 35 lbs and work indoors/outdoors with supervision of children.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities and curriculum for preschoolers ages 2.9 through 4 years old.
• Work a rotating schedule that includes two shifts from 7 AM – 3 PM on Tuesday and Thursday, and two shifts from 10 AM – 6 PM on Monday and Wednesday, with one rotating shift per week on Fridays.
• Create a warm, welcoming, and safe environment that supports children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
• Build positive, supportive relationships with children, parents, and fellow educators.
