Longwood Medical Area Child Care Center in Boston, MA is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Preschool Teacher to foster growth and create a nurturing learning environment for toddlers and preschoolers. You will implement age-appropriate activities and collaborate with a supportive team to promote development across multiple domains.

The role requires flexibility in a rotating schedule, strong communication, and a genuine passion for early childhood education.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required).
• Experience working with children in a child care, daycare, or preschool setting.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors, lift at least 35 lbs, and supervise children at all times.
• Strong communication skills and patience for young learners.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities and curriculum for preschoolers ages 2.9 through 4 years old.
• Work a rotating schedule with two shifts on Tue/Thu and two shifts on Mon/Wed, plus a rotating Friday shift.
• Create a warm, welcoming and safe environment supporting development across social, emotional, physical, and cognitive domains.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and fellow educators.

Full-Time Preschool Teacher (Boston, MA)

Join Our Team as a Full-Time Preschool Teacher!

Do you have a passion for teaching young children and creating a positive, nurturing learning environment? We’re looking for a dedicated Full-Time Preschool Teacher to join our warm and supportive team! In this role, you’ll play a vital part in shaping the minds of toddlers, fostering their growth, and building meaningful connections with both children and families.

What You’ll Do:

• Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities and curriculum for preschoolers ages 2.9 through 4 years old
• Work a rotating schedule that includes two shifts from 7 AM – 3 PM on Tuesday and Thursday, and two shifts from 10 AM – 6 PM on Monday and Wednesday, with one rotating shift per week on Fridays
• Create a warm, welcoming, and safe environment that supports children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
• Build positive, supportive relationships with children, parents, and fellow educators

What You’ll Need:

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required)
• Experience working with children in a child care, daycare, or preschool setting
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors, lift at least 35 lbs, actively participate in physical activities, and maintain full supervision of children at all times
