Longwood Medical Area Child Care Center in Boston, MA is seeking a Full-Time Center Float Teacher to support infants, toddlers, and preschoolers with a warm, nurturing approach. This role floats between classrooms, helping to create a safe, engaging learning environment.

You will work an 8-hour shift between 6:30 AM and 6:00 PM, be at least 18 with a HS diploma, and bring patience, strong communication, and a love for children.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Experience working with children in child care, daycare, or preschool settings.
• Ability to lift at least 35 lbs and maintain supervision of children at all times.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required (stated as preferred but not required).

Responsibilities

• Gain valuable hands-on experience floating between infant and toddler classrooms.
• Assist the Infant/Toddler Supervisors as needed.
• Work an 8-hour schedule between 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM (must be available to open and close).
• Help create a warm, welcoming, and safe environment that supports children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.

What You’ll Do:
