Qualifications

• Patience and enthusiasm for education.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• High school diploma or GED, or currently obtaining one.
• Unrestricted Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of the care and education of children in the class.
• Ensure the safety of each child in all areas of the facility.
• Assist with maintaining student activities in the LL communication program (Brightwheel).
• Follow weekly lesson plans and goals outlined by the teacher.
• Be a team player and communicate positively with peers.
• Maintain compliance with state licensing regulations.
• Educate children about colors, letters, numbers, and shapes.
• Engage in creative learning methods (arts and crafts, supervised play, storytelling).
• Instill a sense of order and discipline in the classroom.
• Supervise free time on the playground and classroom at all times.
• Keep the classroom clean, safe, and organized.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Assist with classroom/age groups as needed.
• Assist with food distribution and cleanup.
• Engage with children in age-appropriate activities.
• Foster a positive and healthy learning environment.
• Report issues to supervisor per LL expectations.

• Maintain compliance with all state licensing regulations
• Assist in educating children about fundamental concepts, such as colors, letters, numbers, and shapes
• Engaging in creative methods of learning, such as arts and crafts, supervised play, and storytelling
• Assist in instilling a sense of order and discipline in the classroom
• Supervising free time on the playground and in the classroom at all times
• Ensuring the classroom is a clean, safe, and organized environment.
• Assist with opening and closing duties

Minimum Qualifications:

• Passionate about education and willingness to learn.
