Job summary

Chartwells K-12 in Gainesville, TX is hiring for a full-time Prep Cook to prepare food and serve customers in line with recipes and production sheets. You will follow HACCP guidelines and maintain food safety standards while supporting a fast-paced school cafeteria.

Requires a prior food handler certification. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. Pay range is $13.00 to $15.00 per hour; online applications accepted only.

Qualifications

• A prior food handler certification is required.
• Experience in fast-paced foodservice is preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and production sheets.

Responsibilities

• Prepares items on production sheets following quantities and recipes.
• Tastes meals to ensure quality and standards.
• Operates and cleans kitchen equipment per procedures.
• Respects HACCP guidelines and maintains sanitation standards.
• Takes orders from customers and serves Food items efficiently.
