Job summary

Compass Group USA’s Flik Independent School Dining is hiring a full-time Prep Cook for The Rivers School in Weston, MA. Shift is Monday–Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, with duties including meal preparation, kitchen sanitation, and serving students under HACCP guidelines.

This role requires prior kitchen experience; online applications are accepted only. Free meals and uniforms are provided at select locations, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience required.
• Must be available for full-time schedule.
• Compliance with health and sanitation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Obtains daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef.
• Prepares items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes.
• Completes and follows daily production worksheets and waste log sheets; tastes meals for quality.
• Operates and cleans equipment per department procedures after each use.
• Stores, labels and dates all food items according to policy; follows HACCP guidelines.
• Completes required documentation, reports, logs as required.
• Complies with health and sanitation regulations and department procedures.
• Takes orders from customers and prepares items with short prep time.
• Serves customers efficiently and kindly.
• Completes orders from steam tables and grills at multiple stations.
• Uses approved recipes and production standards for quality and portion control.
• Resolves customer concerns.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
