Job summary

Compass Group USA’s FLIK team in Washington, DC is hiring a full-time Prep Cook who will prepare food and serve customers in accordance with federal, state and local standards. You will work a 6:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday at the Arnold & Porter location, with online applications accepted.

This role requires prior kitchen experience, a commitment to food safety (HACCP), and the ability to follow recipes and production sheets.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience required.

Responsibilities

• Obtains daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef.
• Prepares items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes.
• Operates and cleans equipment per department procedures after each use.
• Stores, labels and dates all food items according to policy. Follows HACCP guidelines.
• Completes all required documentation, reports, logs as required.
• Resolves customer concerns.
