Job summary

St. Joseph Pillar of Families Parishes is seeking a Catholic Director of Religious Education (CRE) for grades Pre-K through 12 at St. Michael Parish.

The role supports youth and families, invites active participation, and fosters parish life. The ideal candidate is a practicing Catholic with experience or formal training in parish ministry, willing to work evenings and weekends, and able to coordinate sacramental celebrations and seasonal events.

Qualifications

• Must be a practicing Catholic.
• Experience or formal training in parish ministry.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.
• Background screening and SafeParish Training required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as CRE for grades Pre-K–12 at St. Michael Parish.
• Engage students and families in faith formation activities.
• Coordinate sacramental celebrations and parish events.
• Adapt to seasonal demands and liturgical seasons.

St. Joseph Pillar of Families Parishes is looking for a CRE for grades Pre-K -12 at St. Michael Parish to fill this role. The candidate would be a practicing Catholic who loves working with students and families. This position requires flexibility to work some nights and weekends, along with the ability to accommodate seasonal demands such sacramental celebrations, liturgical holidays, and other occasional parish events. The position is full-time with full benefits. Experience and/or formal training in parish ministry is required. Candidates must successfully pass a background screening and complete SafeParish Training.
