Spring Lake Park School District 16 is looking for a Full Time Float to support our Nutrition Services team across multiple schools in California. This position involves preparing and serving nutritious meals, ensuring food safety, and guiding food service staff. Title: Full Time Float – This is routine work performed under the direct supervision of the high school manager or other designated individual. The position requires floating at an elementary, middle and high school. Performance is evaluated on an ongoing basis.
Locations: Centerview Elementary, Northpoint Elementary, Woodcrest Spanish Immersion Elementary, Park Terrace Elementary, Westwo... School, Spring Lake Park High School.
Hours: 6.0 days/day.
Duty Days: 181 total days (168 student contact days, 10 paid holidays, 3 prep days) according to the school year calendar.
Group: Nutrition Services.
Position Associate Rate of Pay $21.55/hr. Additional $1.00/hr differential if employee holds Certified Food Manager certification. Longevity pay $1.50‑$2.75/hr.
Start Date: TBD.
Personal computer, calculator, large and small kitchen equipment such as combi oven, rotating oven, steam kettle, sharp cutting tools, dishwasher, rolling racks and utility cart.
