Castle Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Chesterton is hiring a Full-Time Porter to support dealership operations and vehicle presentation. The role involves handling inventory appearance, tag placement, and vehicle movement to maintain a neat lot and efficient flow of traffic within the dealership.

Ideal candidates have a positive attitude, reliable transportation, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record. Prior dealership experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of automotive dealership operations is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Professional attitude and the ability to deliver best-in-class customer service.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the appearance and performance of inventory by cleaning vehicles, replenishing fluids, and replacing batteries as needed.
• Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.
• Keep lots neat and orderly, move cars as directed by the general manager and dealership standards.
• Drive vehicles to and from requested areas as needed.
• Make key tags and manage the inventory of vehicles.
• Retrieve and deliver vehicles from property locations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Full-Time Porter Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory appearance and performance by cleaning the interior and exterior of vehicles, replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed, and replacing batteries when necessary
• Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles
• Keep lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards
• Drive vehicles to and from requested areas as needed
• Make key tags for and handle the inventory of vehicles
• Retrieve and deliver vehicles from property locations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Full-Time Porter Qualifications

• Ability to work assigned hours
• Knowledge of automotive dealership operations is a plus
• Positive attitude, can-do mentality, confident, outgoing personality, eagerness to improve High school diploma or equivalent
• Professional attitude and the ability to deliver best-in-class customer service
• Reliable transportation to and from work every single day
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Porter: $15 - $20 per hour
