Job summary

Castle CDJR of Chesterton is hiring a Full-Time Porter to keep our lot and vehicles in top condition. You will clean interiors and exteriors, replenish fluids, and replace batteries as needed while organizing inventory and assisting with vehicle movement.

You will drive vehicles as required, tag inventory, and ensure a neat, professional dealership environment. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Flexible, reliable hours and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicle appearance by cleaning interior and exterior.
• Replenish fluids and replace batteries as needed.
• Place buyer guides and stock tags on vehicles.
• Keep lot neat and move cars per GM directions.
• Drive vehicles to requested areas and deliver as needed.
• Create key tags and manage inventory movements.
• Retrieve and deliver vehicles from property locations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Full-Time Porter Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory appearance and performance by cleaning the interior and exterior of vehicles, replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed, and replacing batteries when necessary
• Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles
• Keep lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards
• Drive vehicles to and from requested areas as needed
• Make key tags for and handle the inventory of vehicles
• Retrieve and deliver vehicles from property locations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Full-Time Porter Qualifications

• Ability to work assigned hours
• Knowledge of automotive dealership operations is a plus
• Positive attitude, can-do mentality, confident, outgoing personality, eagerness to improve High school diploma or equivalent
• Professional attitude and the ability to deliver best-in-class customer service
• Reliable transportation to and from work every single day
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
