Job summary

Castle Chevy of Villa Park is seeking a Part-Time Porter to support our dealership operations. You will maintain vehicle appearance, drive cars as needed, and assist with stock tagging and inventory flow to keep the lot organized.

Ideal candidates have a positive attitude, reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to learn. Compensation ranges from $15 to $18 per hour with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Ability to work assigned hours.
• Knowledge of automotive dealership operations is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Professional attitude and the ability to deliver best-in-class customer service.
• Reliable transportation to and from work every day.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory appearance and performance by cleaning vehicles, replenishing fluids, and replacing batteries as needed.
• Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.
• Keep lots neat and orderly, move cars as directed by the GM and showroom standards.
• Drive vehicles to and from requested areas as needed.
• Make key tags for and manage vehicle inventory.
• Retrieve and deliver vehicles from property locations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Part-Time Porter Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory appearance and performance by cleaning the interior and exterior of vehicles, replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed, and replacing batteries when necessary
• Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles
• Keep lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards
• Drive vehicles to and from requested areas as needed
• Make key tags for and handle the inventory of vehicles
• Retrieve and deliver vehicles from property locations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Part-Time Porter Qualifications

• Ability to work assigned hours
