Job summary

Centurion Health in Kuna, Idaho is seeking a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join Idaho State Correctional Center outside Boise. You will conduct mental health assessments, diagnose, and treat patients under a psychiatrist's direction, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a correctional setting.

Requirements include an active Idaho license and DEA (or ability to obtain), plus 1+ year PMHNP experience; correctional experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Idaho license & DEA or ability to obtain.
• Minimum of one year's experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner preferred
• Experience in a correctional or institutional setting preferred

Responsibilities

• The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides mental health/psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients under the clinical direction of a psychiatrist and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients in a correctional setting.

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides mental health/psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients under the clinical direction of a psychiatrist and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients in a correctional setting.
