Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a part-time Psychiatrist to join the Idaho State Correctional Institution team in Kuna, Idaho. You will perform psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatments, working under the Psychiatric Medical Director and leading a multidisciplinary mental health team.

The role offers a 22-hour week schedule in two 11‑hour shifts with weekday daytime hours and a benefits package including 401(k), PTO, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Idaho unrestricted medical license or ability to obtain one.
• Board Certification in Psychiatry.
• DEA registration.
• Must pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for patients.
• Work under supervision of the Psychiatric Medical Director and support a multidisciplinary team.
• Provide clinical leadership for mental health services in the facility.

Centurion is the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Idaho Department of Correction. We are seeking a part-time Psychiatrist to join our team at the Idaho State Correctional Institution located in Kuna, Idaho.

Job Description: The Psychiatrist provides psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients, works under the supervision of the Psychiatric Medical Director, and provides clinical leadership for a multidisciplinary team to deliver mental health services to patients with psychiatric disorders or other mental health issues.
