Arrae Health Primary Care in California seeks a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP-C/NP-BC) to join our Palm Springs team for comprehensive adult primary care in an outpatient setting.

The successful candidate will perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, coordinate referrals, educate patients, and document in the EHR while collaborating with physicians and clinical staff.

Qualifications

• Current California license (unrestricted)
• Current DEA registration, or ability to obtain
• 1+ year of Internal Medicine or Primary Care experience preferred, but not required
• New graduates welcome and encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Provide direct primary care services to adult patients in outpatient setting
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as appropriate
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, physical exams, and follow-up visits
• Order and interpret lab tests and imaging
• Coordinate referrals and specialty consultations
• Develop and manage evidence-based treatment plans
• Educate patients on diagnoses, medications, preventive care and treatment plans
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation and ensure patient safety
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and clinical staff

We are a physician-owned and operated organization with four locations across California and more on the way. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a compassionate and motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Palm Springs team.

Position Summary

The PA-C or NP will provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate is committed to excellent patient care, strong clinical communication, teamwork, and evidence-based medicine.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct primary care services to adult patients within the provider's scope and credentials
• Perform appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, physical examinations, and follow-up visits
• Order and interpret laboratory testing and diagnostic imaging
• Coordinate referrals and specialty consultations when appropriate
• Develop, implement, and manage evidence-based treatment plans
• Educate patients regarding diagnoses, medications, preventive care, and treatment recommendations
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in the EHR
• Maintain quality, compliance, and patient-safety standards
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, clinical staff, and other members of the healthcare team

Qualifications

Education

• MSN or DNP for Nurse Practitioners (NP-C or NP-BC), or
• MPAS or equivalent accredited Physician Assistant education (PA-C)

Licensure

• Current, clear, and unrestricted California license
• Current DEA registration, or ability to obtain as required

Experience

• 1+ year of Internal Medicine or Primary Care experience preferred, but not required
• Leadership experience preferred, but not required
