Job summary

Premise Health Inc. is seeking a Physician Assistant to provide care for client employees and dependents at the Health Center in Schofield, Wisconsin. Schedule includes varied hours Monday through Friday with potential newborn care capability.

The PA will perform exams, procedures, care planning and patient education, while collaborating with physicians to ensure comprehensive care. State licenses, NCCPA certification and DEA license are required.

Qualifications

• Active state licenses/certifications to practice.
• Current NCCPA national certification.
• Degree from ARC-PA accredited program.
• Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice).
• BLS/ACLS as required by contract scope of services.
• At least three years of clinical PA experience in ambulatory/occupational health/ER settings.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines.
• Performs injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develops patient care plans and records progress.
• Educates patients on treatment plans and health maintenance.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions.
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
• Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications.
• Refers patients to specialists as needed.
• Maintains patient health records with up-to-date documentation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
