Education: Associates degree from an approved PTA program; licensure in GA or GA compact privileges; BLS certification through AHA. No prior experience is required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from an approved Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Georgia Physical Therapy Assistant license or current compact privileges in Georgia.
• BLS certification through AHA.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy modalities and treatment procedures as determined by the plan established by the Physical Therapist to enable the patient to reach the highest level of physical independence.
