Job summary

Legent Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our full-time team in Bellaire, TX. The role focuses on rehabilitating patients after illness or injury, aiming to restore mobility and independence.

Ideal candidates have a Master's in Physical Therapy, TX license, CPR certification, and at least two years of hospital experience. Responsibilities include creating and updating care plans, educating patients, and ensuring infection control throughout treatment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in physical therapy is required.
• Current and active license to practice Physical Therapy in the operating state.
• CPR certification is required.
• Minimum 2 years hospital experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical patient assessment and identify patient needs.
• Document and complete a Plan of Care, progress notes, and other clinical records.
• Supervise/oversee other team members in patient care.
• Apply infection control and standard precautions in patient care.
• Accept clinical assignments within education and competence.
• Plan and provide treatment for neuro-muscular, neurological, and orthopedic disorders.
• Meet mandatory continuing education requirements.
• Instruct patient/family in transfer techniques and safe use of equipment.
• Use effective interpersonal communication and promote agency policies.
• Demonstrate commitment, professional growth, and competency.
