Avalon Rehabilitation & Care Center in Wayne, NJ is hiring a Full-time Physical Therapist to join our health team in delivering high-quality resident care.

Your role will involve conducting physical and psychological assessments, developing and following treatment plans, and advising on adaptive equipment to support daily activities, with a focus on long-term rehabilitation and maintaining up-to-date therapy practices.

Qualifications

• A degree in Physical Therapy.
• Certified by the National Board for Certification.
• Experience in Long-term-care preferred.
• Must be able to work in Wayne, NJ.
• Up-to-date knowledge of physical therapy practices.

Responsabilités

• Conducting physical and psychological assessments of clients and developing or following a treatment plan.
• Advising on adaptive equipment to help clients with daily activities.
• Developing physical rehabilitation programs to help clients regain lost skills.
• Evaluating results and progress of occupational therapy on clients.
• Maintaining professional knowledge and the technical progress in order to provide clients with the best treatment program available.
• Evaluating patient condition regarding physical and basic mental health.
