Job summary

Avalon Rehabilitation and Care Center in Wayne, NJ is seeking a committed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a full-time role, with PRN also available. You will work with a compassionate team to plan and administer treatment, helping residents regain function and independence in a patient-centered setting.

You’ll be part of a family-like, homey environment with therapists and nurses supporting each other.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer treatment to residents and patients to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing
• Assure all treatment is delivered in accordance with an established plan of care
• Provide clinical support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers
• Monitor patient response to treatment intervention
• Complete required forms and documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations
