Job summary

Harrisonburg Health & Rehabilitation Center in Harrisonburg, Virginia is seeking a caring Physical Therapist licensed in Virginia or actively pursuing licensure to join our rehabilitation team. You will contribute to a state-of-the-art rehab program alongside skilled therapists to help residents recover independence and return home.

You will evaluate residents, develop treatment plans, obtain physician approval, manage discharge planning, and supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides

Qualifications

• Licensed in Virginia or actively pursuing licensure.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Effective problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop effective treatment plans.
• Obtain approval for services from the referring physician.
• Discharge planning and record documentation for evaluation, treatment, and charges.
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides; screen residents for PT needs.
