Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation seeks a qualified Physical Therapy Assistant to join its dynamic team in Rock Island, IL. Working under the guidance of a Physical Therapist, you will assist in delivering care per each patient’s plan, ensuring quality treatment and positive functional outcomes.

You will help develop and implement treatment programs, assist with all therapy phases, and document patient responses. Strong communication with the PT, director, rehab team, and staff is essential.

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of physical therapist, develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Physical Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
