Resorts at Augsburg in Maryland is hiring a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our nursing team. You will provide comprehensive treatment under the supervision of a PT and help patients regain function.

The ideal candidate has an Associate's degree in Physical Therapy recognized by the APTA, holds Maryland licensure, and CPR certification. We support ongoing training and a collaborative, supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy recognized by the APTA.
• Maryland license/registration current.
• CPR certification current.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of a PT according to state practice guidelines.
• Assist Physical Therapists in directing patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce and enhance performance.
• Facilitate the learning of those skills and functions essential for adaptation and productivity.
• Ensure MD orders are obtained for treatments, recertifications and discharges.
• Assist with other documentation requirements as indicated and according to state guidelines.
