Job summary

Central Ohio Primary Care in Columbus, OH is seeking a Phlebotomist to order and transmit lab orders in the computer system, and to process blood, urine, and stool specimens according to Laboratory procedures.

This full-time role offers benefits and a Monday–Friday schedule, with 9:30am–6:00pm shifts, and requires HS diploma or GED plus a Phlebotomy certificate and strong patient service skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ordering/Transmitting lab orders in computer system.
• Assists in care of patient before, during, and after phlebotomy.
• Perform blood draws and verify patient name and birth date.
• Process blood and urine specimens per procedures.
• Stock inventory and maintain a clean work area.
• Disposes biohazard material correctly and maintains confidentiality.
