Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomy Technician to join our Templeton, CA team at 350 Posada Lane Suite 104. Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:15 am – 4:15 pm, rotating weekends. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, collect specimens for drug screens, document data accurately, and provide superior customer service to patients.

Travel to additional sites as needed. Required: high school diploma or GED and California phlebotomy license (CPT).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CA Phlebotomy license (CPT) required.
• Preferred: 1+ year phlebotomy experience; Labcorp experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
