Job summary

LABTECH DIAGNOSTICS seeks a part-time Phlebotomist in Orange, TX to draw and handle laboratory specimens across ages. This onsite role involves working at multiple locations with flexible hours, delivering courteous patient service and accurate specimen labeling.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and familiarity with phlebotomy techniques, HIPAA guidelines, and data entry. Training will cover universal precautions and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy or Medical Office Assistant course preferred.
• Fast-paced, customer-service oriented environment experience desired.
• Physical abilities include standing, lifting, and walking.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage at multiple locations in the Orange, TX area.
• Work flexible hours as needed.
• Interact courteously with patients and gather feedback.
• Perform venipuncture and other specimen collection procedures.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and accurate data entry.
• Register patients and assist as receptionist when needed.
