Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a phlebotomist to join our team in Walnut Creek, CA. Schedule: Monday-Friday 12:00pm-8:00pm; travel to additional sites may be required. Must hold a CA Phlebotomy License and high school diploma or equivalent. Pay range is $23–$33/hr with a quarterly incentive and comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision and 401(k).

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 177 La Casa Via, Suite 150, Walnut Creek, CA 94598.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 12:00pm-8:00pm, additional hours and rotating weekends may be required.

Job Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
• Valid California State issued Phlebotomy License

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 or more months of experience as a phlebotomist
• Current or prior experience with Labcorp

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the CA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to attend 2-week training in California

Pay Range: $23.00 - $33.00 plus 2nd shift differential

QUARTERLY INCENTIVE BONUS PROGRAM PST’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics
