Job summary

Hannaford Supermarkets in Brewer, ME is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to greet customers, assist pharmacists, and support daily pharmacy operations. You will help prepare prescriptions, manage insurance forms, and keep accurate records while delivering friendly service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Assist pharmacists by counting, labeling, and pricing prescriptions.
• Ensure customers receive all their prescriptions.
• File written prescription forms after dispensing.
• Prepare and complete manual insurance claim forms.
• Maintain organized filing for invoices and claims in accordance with policy and law.
• Help customers find over-the-counter items.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory and stock levels.
