Job summary

Lifepoint Health's Copper Springs in Arizona is seeking a Pharmacist to join our full-time team. You will contribute to drug therapy management, review medication orders, and educate staff and patients as part of an interdisciplinary care approach.

The role requires a pharmacy license in AZ and a BLS certification within 30 days of hire, with a preference for at least one year of experience in a similar setting.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree required; Doctoral Degree preferred.
• Licenses: Pharmacy license in AZ.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages drug therapy protocols as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Reviews, interprets and evaluates medication orders to identify, prevent and resolve drug-related problems.
• Provides drug information and education to medical staff, healthcare professionals, patients, and pharmacy students.
• Documents interventions and outcomes for drug therapy quality improvement.
• Evaluates medication orders for accuracy and completeness prior to order entry; checks accuracy after filling by technicians.
