Copper Springs is seeking a part-time Director of Pharmacy to lead the department, develop goals, and ensure compliant operations. You will oversee staffing, budgets, audits, and ongoing professional development while integrating evidence-based practices into daily clinical workflows.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree required; Doctoral degree preferred.
• Licenses: AZ Pharmacy license required to practice.
• Certification: Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire.
• Experience: One year of relevant pharmacy leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards.
• Directs and evaluates operations including patient care, IT, service levels, and complaints.
• Plans staffing activities: hiring, orientation, evaluation, and continuing education.
• Prepares and monitors budgets; coordinates internal/external audits.
• Creates an environment fostering professional growth.
• Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and protocols.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

How you'll contribute

• Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical,
  administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
• Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
• Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
• Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding. Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.
• Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
• Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
