Qualifications

• Evidence of passing the Arkansas State Board of Education Praxis Paraprofessional Assessment.

Responsibilities

• Lead specific stations, warm-ups, or small-group activities as directed by the teacher.
• Provide direct support to students with IEPs or behavioral plans during instruction.
• Motivate students to participate, practice sportsmanship, and engage in class activities.
• Keep a watchful eye on students during high-motion games to prevent injuries.
• Supervise students during transitions, meals, and recess as needed.
• Set up gym/play area and clean up after class.
• Track equipment and report damaged items to the lead teacher.
• Ensure shared equipment is cleaned and sanitized regularly.
