Job summary

Onamia Public Schools – Onamia Academy School Program (OA) is seeking a dynamic and highly energetic individual for the position of a Physical Education Paraprofessional. A Paraprofessional assists teachers and administration and helps students with academic, social, and/or behavioral needs.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, keyboarding and computer proficiency, and strong verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold AA degree or pass local standardized testing.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Proficient in keyboarding and use of computers.
• Proficient in verbal and written communication skills.
• Capable of adapting learning opportunities to meet student needs.
• Capable of working cooperatively with staff and supervisors.
• Able to maintain confidential records securely.
