Job summary

AMR is hiring a full-time Wheelchair Van Driver in Colorado. The role focuses on transporting patients with a high standard of care and customer service. Starting pay is $19.29 per hour, with an hourly range up to $30.86.

Responsibilities include using maps, communicating via radio codes, completing trip sheets, maintaining the vehicle, and following HIPAA and other policies. A valid state license and CPR/First Aid training are required or must be completed after hire. Posting closes 12/31/2026.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• State driver's license is required.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain training.
• Successful completion of company driver training.

Responsibilities

• Utilize maps to locate hospitals, medical facilities, and patient home addresses.
• Ability to use standard radio codes to communicate with the communications center.
• Complete daily trip sheet recording transport activity.
• Ensure company vehicle is maintained and presentable.
• Responsible for completing mechanical checklist for vehicle at the start of each shift.
• Communicate mechanical problems to fleet department if/when vehicle is not in working order.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations, all company policies, procedures and compliance requirements.
• Know and follow information systems security policies and procedures.
